NSW public schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics, delivered by approved providers wherever available.
At West Ryde Public School, special religious education (SRE) and special education in ethics (SEE) is delivered on Tuesday from 9:10am-9:40am for K-2 students, 9:40am-10:10am for Years 3-4 students and from 10:10am-10:40am for Years 5-6 students.
On enrolment parents/carers will be given the SRE and SEE participation letter (see attached note here) to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE/SEE should be given to the school office, in writing.
The following SRE/SEE classes are offered at West Ryde Public School:
· Catholic
· Hindu
· Islamic
· Ethics

At this stage, Ethics is only offered to certain grades for non-SRE attendees as we have limited numbers of volunteers to run the program.
